The current collection of the Mautner Gallery in Vienna consists of around 200 orthodox icons from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.

 

Carefully curated and exquisite Russian, Greek, Bulgarian, Italian and Coptic icons on various themes such as the Mother of God, Christ Pantocrator, Saint Nicholas of Myra, Saint Pantaleon, Saint Archangel Michael, Saint George to themes such as the Annunciation or the Holy Trinity are offered.

 

The gallery also offers an extensive collection of icons from the Palekh and Moscow painting schools, as well as icons with oklad and bronze icons.
